Membership

The Museums of Old York is more than just a collection of historic buildings: Old York is a museum that participates in and is actively involved with its community and its members. Won't you help us continue our mission by becoming a member? Your support helps Old York contribute to the community every day; whether it be through access to our books, manuscripts and objects, or through our well-respected educational programs and exhibits. Membership is valid for 12 months. Benefits of membership include:

• Help Grow the Organization. As a member of the Museums of Old York, you have the opportunity to help guide the organization! Members are regularly invited to provide feedback and have a vote at the Annual Meeting.

• Social Invitations. Members receive invitations to special events, gallery openings, previews and special members-only events.

• Admission Privileges. Enjoy free admission to all of our museum buildings, including the new Remick Barn. Many membership levels include free admission for one or more guests, or a free pass, so you can share your museum experience with friends and family.

• Library Access: Members of the Museums of Old York are granted full library privileges and receive discounts on library research requests.

• Subscription to Currents. Enjoy our informative members'newsletter, featuring updates on our properties and programs.

• Program Discounts. Receive discounts on public programs, educational opportunities and special tours.

• Museum Shop Discount. Enjoy a 10% discount at the Museum Shop, whether you browse our shelves or simply shop by mail after viewing our online catalogue.

Individual Memberships

* Family Membership includes admission for 2 adults plus all children or grandchildren.

Business Memberships

* Business members are listed on our website, with a free link! Business members who wish to provide special discounts to our individual members should contact the Development and Community Relations Director Erica Holthausen by email or phone at (207) 363-4974 x 13.

Gift Memberships

Membership to the Museums of Old York makes the perfect birthday, anniversary, holiday, house warming or simple thank you gift! Gift memberships include all the same benefits as standard membership. To purchase a gift membership please fill out the membership enrollment form and:

• Choose the level of the gift membership.

• Confirm the mailing address of the recipient of the gift membership.

• Decide if you want the gift membership package sent to you or directly to the recipient.

• Decide if you want the membership renewal notice sent to you or directly to the recipient.

• Write down a personal message for the recipient that we will include in the membership package.
